What this extension does
YouTube Bell Link Collector reads notifications available in your YouTube bell when you choose Start fresh or Continue. It turns video destinations into a copyable list and lets you view collected notifications in a separate extension window or tab.

Data processed
The extension reads notification text (which can include channel names and comments or reply previews), displayed ages, notification identifiers and video destinations. It also records your collection settings, source-tab identifier, run status and limited scrolling diagnostics such as row counts and scroll positions. This content can reveal your YouTube interests and activity.

Where data goes
Notification results and settings are stored in chrome.storage.local in your current Chrome profile. The extension does not upload them to its developer, an analytics service, an advertising service or another server. It does not use Chrome storage sync. It does not read passwords, authentication cookies, payment information or notifications from other websites. YouTube continues to handle normal requests made by its own website while the bell loads; this extension does not change YouTube's own data practices.

When access occurs
Access to the YouTube page is granted when you click the extension icon. Reading and scrolling for a collection begins when you choose Start fresh or Continue. The Stop button ends the current collection. Closing the results window alone does not stop collection while the original YouTube tab and bell remain open. Reloading or navigating that source page ends the running collector.

Your controls and retention
Results are stored per source tab until replaced with Start fresh, deleted using Clear saved results, or the extension is removed. Chrome can reuse or change tab identifiers; export results before closing the source tab or restarting Chrome. There is no automatic retention period. Uninstalling the extension removes its extension storage. Text files you download and text you copy to the clipboard are separate copies: you manage and delete them using your computer's normal controls. Copies you paste into another service are subject to that service's practices.

Sharing and transfers
The developer does not receive, sell or share notification data. Copy and Download act only when you select them. Opening a video link navigates to YouTube. The extension contains no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, external fonts or remotely loaded executable code.

Permissions
activeTab: temporary access to the YouTube tab you select by clicking the extension.
scripting: run bundled code to read notification models and scroll the bell.
storage: keep results and settings locally in your Chrome profile.
clipboardWrite: copy displayed video links when you click Copy.

Limited use
Any use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. This extension does not use the YouTube Data API; it reads the YouTube page you opened.

Future changes will be reflected in this policy and, where relevant, the extension's store listing. For privacy questions, use the developer support contact shown on the extension's Chrome Web Store listing. Please avoid sending notification history or other personal content unless needed for a specific support request.
